By visiting the animals and exhibits at the zoo, you join millions of others who for many years have enjoyed this oasis of wildlife so near the ocean.  A visit to Cape May is not complete without a visit to the Zoo.  

Residents include parrots, pheasants, cats, otters, tigers, cheetahs, camels, elk, wallabies, bears, leopards, giraffes, ostrich, zebras, red pandas, monkeys, deer and more.  See the wonders of nature.  
  
  

 

Concession Stand, Picnic Facilities and Gift Shop are located right outside the zoo. Playgrounds are located in the central area of the Park. 

  
New Zoo Exhibit:  World of Birds. This spectacular 8,000 square foot building features a glass roof, a boardwalk winding through the interior, streams, ponds and waterfalls - all home to dozens of beautiful birds. The aviary is enhanced by a hand painted mural by artist Joe Melonic. The mural recreates a tropical rain forest.  

Recent fire (May 1998) destroyed the reptile house and approximately 200 reptiles were killed.  Donations to the zoo are greatly appreciated.
